Jodi Ely, FEI rider, specializes in Dressage and Eventing. Her main goal
is to help horses and riders of all levels and disciplines reach their top
potential. She realizes that everyone’s ambitions, abilities and budgets
differ and aims to identify each rider’s goals and develop a system that helps
them reach their personal best. She is available as a clinician,
instructor, trainer, coach and judge.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management
from the University of Minnesota in 1982 and has over 40 years of experience
riding horses in many different disciplines. As a youth she competed in
eventing, dressage, vaulting, roman riding, drill team, and formation
riding.
Jodi operates out of Trista
Farm LLC, in Minnetrista, Minnesota and Trista Farm South in Ocala, Florida in the winter months. Jodi has worked
with some of the most respected trainers in the business such as Axel Steiner,
Heather Bender, Dorothy Crowell, Nick Wagman, Lilo Fore, Ralph Hill, Phyllis
Dawson, Sara Geikie, Becky Holder, Jon Holling, Peter Gray, Marlene Schneider
and Kathy Theissen.
Jodi's Accomplishments:
• USDF 'r' Dressage Judge, USEF Western Dressage Judge, Young and Future Event Horse Judge, Driving Judge.
Involvement in the sport of Eventing and Dressage is of utmost importance. Jodi has served two terms on the Board of Directors of Central States Dressage and Eventing Association. Two years as Secretary for the organization and one year as President. She is a recipient of the prestigious CSDEA Von Bluecher award and is actively involved in local and national sport organizations.
